Mission Statement:

We the AMVETS Riders of The United States of America are a committed and patriotic group of motorcycle riders. We hold true to an unwavering respect of our nation, its military soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, and others deployed in harms way, past, present, and future. We are committed to the freedoms of this nation. We support veterans, the National Guard, the Reserve, and those on active duty. We ride in support of our nation and our military thru our community service.

Membership in the Chapter shall be limited to members in good standing of AMVETS, AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary, Sons of AMVETS and Junior AMVETS of the age 16 with a signed, notarized consent form from the parent or guardian.

Riders Meetings are held on the First Sunday of every month at 1 pm.

Poker Runs will be posted on the Ohio AMVETS Riders website.

RIDERS CHRISTMAS 2008

Riders celebrated Christmas donating gifts to a needy family. The Chapter members would like to give thanks to all who partipated in this event. Members and donors donated time, money and gifts to a family they didn't even know. This is what Christnas is really about. AMVETS RIDERS CHAPTER 148 RECEIVE NATIONAL CHARTER

AMVETS Riders Chapter 148 are nationally chartered April 19th, 2008. Chapter 148 President Danny Beach accepts charter from State Riders President Darrell Robinson. Members of Chapter 148 look on as the charter is presented. State president Darrell Robinson and his family and other members of the State Riders from Chapter 4 Chillicothe Ohio, came up to present Chapter 148 with their official national charter number two in Ohio.
